Special Events Security Officer
Locations: Boise, Idaho
Position Summary:
Summer event security, is temporary, based on event availability, mostly on weekends. Some 3 day weekend events as well. Our event security team builds relationships between party goers and event promoters. An event security agent is diligent, polite, and listens. They are constantly aware of their environment and the situations going on around them. They are an integral part of a family like team.
Job Description:
To monitor access to and from events, to facilitate a calm and fun experience. this is accomplished by listening, by observing everything going on around them, and taking appropriate actions and deferring to the appropriate people as needed.
Various Positions Needed:
Access Control: Checking bags, verifying tickets, checking wrist bands, making sure the appropriate people are in the appropriate areas.
Alcohol Enforcement: Monitoring peoples consumption of alcohol, and the alcohol vendors serving practices. Verifying age by checking ID's.
Crowd Control: Intercedes in a tense situation to find out what the problem is or what the miscommunication is and helps resolve the situation as calmly and peacefully as possible. If this cannot happen, they will escort or defer to somebody who can escort, to remove the problem from the area.
Bonus: TIPS certification and Understanding radio communication protocols is a bonus.
